Anne and Cade

Starting from childhood, I felt that I had a calling to be with people in their seasons of deepest searching and soul work. I started my career in ministry, and deeply loved being a steward of young people during their soul journey of self-discovery and healing. The work I do now is an extension of that call, primarily doing identity formation work with young adults in the emerging adulthood stage (and sometimes adolescents and children/family).

I am ARCH "Arenas For Change" trained, which is a model of equine assisted therapy, and enjoy incorporating horses into my work with clients. I have found that sessions with animals often tend to increase the emotional availability and connection of both client and therapist. An animal's natural ability to sense energy and emotion can provide feedback, and help create a balanced and safe environment for discovery and release.

I also do storying work (a narrative therapy approach), art therapy, internal family systems, and various cognitive behavioral therapy approaches. Above all, and why I was driven to create Eden Farm, I am passionate about taking a holistic approach for mind, body, spirit, and I support my clients as they seek and reclaim healing in all parts of their lives.

I work with my golden retriever mix, Cade, and I regularly incorporate chickens, horses, and natural settings into client sessions.

Fun facts: I’m from Asheville, I love to be outdoors, I love to run and be active, I'm married and have two kids, and a very sassy cat named Greta Loretta.
